Last night, we celebrated our 37th Annual Meals on Wheels Volunteer Appreciation Banquet—an evening dedicated to honoring the incredible volunteers who make Meals on Wheels possible across Saluda, Laurens, Abbeville, and Greenwood counties.

Because of your compassion and commitment, Meals on Wheels continues to be a lifeline for seniors in our communities. Each delivery provides not only a nutritious meal, but also the comfort of knowing they are cared for and not forgotten.

Thank you for caring, taking action, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of your senior neighbors. We appreciate YOU! 💙

🚚🎉 Today's the day! We officially cut the ribbon on our brand-new food truck!
This truck was made possible thanks to an Innovation Grant from The Greenwood Community Foundation — and we couldn't be more grateful for their support in helping us bring this vision to life.
Here's the best part: 100% of the profits from every event go straight to Meals on Wheels. Every meal you buy from us helps deliver a meal to someone in our community. “ Your Meal Helps Deliver Theirs!”🍽️❤️
We've already had 2 successful events, with more on the way — and our menu will change every time, so there's always something new to try!

❤️ Be a Meals on Wheels Substitute Volunteer!

Do you have an hour to make a BIG difference in someone’s day?

We’re looking for Substitute Meals on Wheels Volunteers to join our call list! When one of our regular volunteers is on vacation or unexpectedly unable to deliver, we’ll reach out to our substitute volunteers to see who is available.

🚗Deliveries start as early as 9:30 AM and must be completed by 11:00 AM.
⏰The route takes less than an hour.
❤️The impact lasts much longer.

It’s a simple way to help make sure our neighbors continue receiving a nutritious meal—and a friendly face at the door—even when their regular volunteer is away.

Our New Meals on Wheels Kitchen Is Taking Shape!

Big things are happening at Piedmont Agency on Aging!

Our new commercial kitchen is officially under construction, bringing us one step closer to a facility designed to better support the growing need for Meals on Wheels in our communities.

These pictures show just a little of the progress being made. There is still work to do, but we are excited to watch this vision become a reality!

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project — our donors, community partners, local leaders, volunteers and friends. This kitchen is being built for our community, and we are grateful to have you with us along the way. ❤️

This Friday from 6pm-9pm Pope & Bert! Hopefully the rain is nice to us! Also, Piedmont Agency on Aging (meals on wheels) will there selling taco bowls 🤤! Come out listen to music and get a good meal to support a good cause!

We're excited to officially launch Meals on a Mission our brand-new food truck, and we'd love for you to celebrate with us!
