Kristen Brauns received her Bachelor's Degree in General and Choral Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. K is the General Music and Chorus Teacher at Greene County Middle School. In college she was a member and Vice President of Sigma Alpha Iota: a Professional Music Fraternity. K has been in music ensembles since the age of eleven: ranging from her church's element
ary children's choir to the choir of the Governor's School of North Carolina. In addition to these, Kristen spent her high school and college years singing in her schools' choirs. This past year, she was a member of the Greeville Choral Society's Concert Choir. Kristen is both professionally trained and self-taught on the piano, guitar, ukulele, and music production programs, as well as her many years being trained vocally. While Ms. K loves to sing and perform with others in ensembles, she also enjoys singing on her own. She has enjoyed writing and producing original songs. K has dedicated her life to music and teaching it, and strives to share this love with her students.
