1st grade worked hard to create nonfiction research books. They used their new knowledge to study biomimicry, the practice of studying nature's time-tested designs, processes, and systems to solve complex human problems sustainably.
Then they created an invention to solve a human problem, using their animals adaptations as inspiration. They were able to present their work to their parents and fellow students on Friday. Great job, 1st grade! 📖
