Ollie traveled through Reedy Laurel today, with farewell waves to all our amazing otters. What an incredible school year it has been!

Our 2nd grade otters wrapped up the last full day of school with the most creative Potato Pets!
Each pet had its own unique personality, and then our otters wrote from their pet's point of view, sharing why they should be adopted.
What an awesome way to close out an amazing school year!

The countdown is on! Ollie has a few reminders for our otters and their families!
Here a few key highlights:
-Tuesday is our last full day of school and last day for the afterschool (EDP) program.
-Dismissal is at 11:45 Wednesday - Friday
-Be sure all library books and technology items are back at school
-Celebrate your otters’ successes
-Meet the Teacher events for all otters will be August 6th

Mario Kart racing and a kickball competition with Mr. Critell made for an exciting Reedy Rewards experience for our otters! Lots of laughter and maybe a little competitive spirit too!

What an incredible day of celebration at our end of year PBL Exhibition!
Our otters traveled through grade levels to view the amazing projects their peers created together while sharing not only their final products, but also the journey of teamwork and problem-solving together, as well as student voice along the way.
K5 students collaborated to create animal habitats complete with resources for survival.
1st grade students designed new recess games and taught fellow otters the rules and procedures.
2nd grade students reflected on their year by choosing one word that defined their 2nd grade experience and shared with 1st graders why that word mattered to them.
We are so proud of our otters for creating an environment built on collaboration. Congratulations on a year of growing together! 💚💙

What a wonderful day our 2nd grade otters had celebrating together during their end of year Celebration and Field Day!
Our otters shared so many laughs, encouraging one another and having a blast on this beautiful day!
Our parents even jumped in for a friendly tug of war competition that brought so many smiles to everyone involved!

It’s a busy week to be an otter! Field days outside and our year end PBL built with student voice and strengthening our soft skills is well in motion. We can’t wait to visit our classrooms for final project shares on Friday!
