Save the date! October 14th at Ironwood CC!

Dear Friends of the Department of Economics,
First and foremost, thank you for your continued support of the Advancement Council and the Department of Economics at East Carolina University. Your commitment to the future of our students is unparalleled. We recently made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Randy Parker Memorial Golf Tournament which was re-scheduled for September 25th, 2020. It was not an easy decision, but we care deeply about the safety and wellbeing of our students, faculty, and supporters and wish to eliminate the health risk this event could impart.
Although we won’t be gathering in person this year, we ask that you please continue to contribute to our 2020 scholarship fund raising goals, if you are able. The generous gifting that typically takes place at our fundraising tournament and auction is critical to our mission of student development and scholarships. While it’s not nearly as thrilling as competing for the longest drive or placing the highest bid on coveted auction items, we hope you will use the donation links below to give what you can. Any amount is one step closer to our yearly goal.
With your help we can lessen the impacts of this challenging time for our beloved students and department. Thank you very much for your contribution and we look forward to seeing everyone back at Ironwood Country Club next year for the 2021 Randy Parker Memorial Golf Tournament. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the continued impacts across the country the Department of Economics in conjunction with the Economics Advancement Council have decided to postpone the 19th Annual Randy Parker Memorial Golf tournament. Please mark your calendars and join us on September 25th, 2020 at Ironwood Country Club and be on the lookout for more information late summer!

What a great day on the course celebrating the life of our dear friend Dr. Randy Parker. As always, our tournament was filled with lots of laughs, mulligans and friendship. Thank you to our sponsors near and far for your support and to everyone who joined us. You have once again stepped up, to help us provide much needed scholarships to our students. We couldn’t do it without you!
