Class of 2030! The Shucker Fellows Program is now accepting applications for first-year students! Applications close on Friday, September 11th at 12:30pm. Apply through the link in our bio or on our website.
The Shucker Fellows Program is a two-year leadership experience where students participate in weekly sessions alongside a cohort of about 25 peers. Through these sessions, fellows discover their personal strengths, grow as leaders, and build meaningful connections on campus.
On campus for summer orientation? Stop by our table during one of the sessions to learn more about our program.

From leadership-focused trips to Disney, to team-building experiences, community service initiatives, alumni dinners, and the opportunity to learn directly from Dr. Shucker himself, this program offers students a wide range of meaningful experiences. Each one is designed to build leadership skills, expand perspectives, and help students discover their strengths.
With Dins Day tomorrow, we would truly appreciate your support. Every gift, even as small as $5, helps ensure this program continues to grow and impact future students!

Shucker Supporters! Dins Day is this Tuesday, April 28th!
We are so grateful for the support we’ve received over the past 30 years, and we’re excited to see the program continue to grow and thrive for years to come.
Swipe to see how our Sophomore Shucker Fellows have given back to the Greenville community this semester! From raising awareness about heart health in elementary school students, to inspiring young girls to pursue STEM careers, to teaching patience through fishing, and so much more, we’re incredibly proud of the real-world impact our fellows are making.
Join us in supporting our Dins Day campaign (starting today!). Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue developing impactful student leaders on our campus.

Last week, the Shucker Fellows Program had the privilege of packing and delivering care boxes to A Child’s Haven, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children who have experienced abuse or neglect. These boxes went straight to infants and children and were filled with both essential hygiene items like soap and toothbrushes, as well as fun activities like playdough and bubbles. We are so grateful for the chance to give back and make a small difference in our community!

The Shucker Fellows recently participated in a boat-building session that combined collaboration, creativity, and friendly competition! Fellows worked together to design and build their boats and gained valuable insight into how their individual strengths contribute to effective teamwork. This was a fun way to strengthen problem solving skills and see leadership in action!

Love seeing Shucker fellows thriving as they grow their leadership at Furman. Grace is a senior now. Way to make an impact and leave your mark, Grace! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1592454246214094&id=100063486014503
"Grace Guillaume ’26 couldn’t see herself as a leader when she first came to Furman University." Today, she serves as Advance Team Lead at The Riley Institute, president of the Pre-Law Society, and vice president of membership experience of Alpha Delta Pi.
With The Riley Institute, Grace has helped lead conversations on public policy, connect with state and national leaders, and build the confidence to pursue a future in law.
Her story is a testament to what happens when students step into opportunity and grow into leadership.

Last weekend, Shucker Fellows volunteered at A Child’s Haven, an organization that helps children who have been victims of abuse and neglect. They spent time working in the therapy gardens, playgrounds, and classrooms to make the spaces safer and more fun for these children. We are so thankful to A Child’s Haven for giving us the opportunity to exercise servant leadership!

On February 11, the New Fellows took part in a Leadership in Action session focused on Inspiring a Shared Vision. Through the experience, they practiced using strong leadership and communication skills to paint a picture they could not see. The session emphasized the importance learning how to confidently share goals, possibilities, and futures with others who might not immediately see the vision!
