🌟 Our One‑Year‑Olds Are Busy Learning Through Play! 🌟

Today’s activities were full of curiosity, focus, and those sweet moments we love to see in our one‑year‑old classroom. Whether they were exploring bead mazes, practicing hand‑eye coordination, or simply enjoying time with friends, every moment supported their growth.

These experiences help build:
🖐️ Fine Motor Skills — moving beads, grasping toys, and strengthening little hands
🧠 Cognitive Development — exploring cause‑and‑effect and early problem‑solving
👀 Visual Tracking — following movement and noticing colors and shapes

🌟 National Nonprofit Day 🌟

At Cadence Academy, we believe that being part of our community means showing up for our community. 💙

Throughout the year, our Cadence families, children, and teachers come together to support organizations doing meaningful work right here in our community. From small acts of kindness to big-hearted fundraisers, we love teaching our children that even little hands can make a BIG difference! 🫶

Some of the ways our Cadence family has given back include:

🚒 Treating our local firefighters and showing our appreciation
🎒 Donating supplies to local foster care closets
🥫 Collecting donations for local food banks
🎄 Providing Christmas gifts and items for Prisma Health's Children's Cancer Ward
🚲 Participating in the St. Jude's Trike-a-Thon to help raise funds for childhood cancer research
💗 Supporting our local women's shelter with clothing and essential items

These experiences help our children learn compassion, generosity, empathy, and the importance of caring for others. Most importantly, they see their families and teachers leading by example. ❤️
