(A Place to Call Home) Congrats to the men at Furman as they secured their first house! The acquisition was led by Housing Corp. head Matthew Janowski '16. According to Ricky Schosky '15, "it will serve as a central social space for our brothers as well as a powerful tool for our chapter's growth." It looks great, guys! (Lugar Receives Medal of Freedom) This morning, U.S. President Barack Obama presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom to former Senator Richard Lugar, Denison '54, during a ceremony at the White House. The Medal is the country's highest civilian honor. Congrats, brother! You deserve it!!

Brother Morris is out of ICU and is hoping to be discharged from the hospital in the next couple of days. One of the first items he requested: His Beta Jersey.

Brother Matthew Morris, '14 is currently in ICU with an undiagnosed illness. Doctors are currently working to identify and treat Matthew. Although he is responding well to initial treatment, non-family visitation is not allowed at this time. As we learn more we will keep you updated. In the mean time, please keep Matthew and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Many thanks to Beta Theta Pi Fraternity at Furman University for the fundraising did with the Greek community at Furman on behalf of Habitat! Beta Theta Pi Chapter President, Blake Williams, and Philanthropy Chairman, Alex Valis, presented their gift to Habitat's Donor Relations Manager, Gail Peay, today.

The Zeta Lambda of Beta Theta Pi is officially a chapter. Much thanks to all of our alumni, parents, and friends who were here to celebrate this special occasion with us.
