We kicked off our 2026–27 Guiding Coalition today with a leadership retreat.🦁

Our team spent the day walking through an entire year at Lakeview—taking a close look at everything from schoolwide events and traditions to systems, routines, and initiatives. We celebrated successes, identified areas for refinement, and asked an important question: How can we make the experience even better for students and staff next year?

We’re grateful for a team that is willing to reflect, rethink, and continuously improve in pursuit of excellence. 💪🏽

Teachers left yesterday, and our leadership is officially in planning mode for ‘26 to ‘27. 😅

Summer may have officially started, but the conversations about next year are ramping up. Lots of dreaming, problem-solving, and thinking ahead about how to continue growing and improving for our students, staff, and families!

🌺🥞 We wrapped up the year together with an end-of-year brunch and the perfect way to celebrate — a delicious Breakfast Luau from Stax's Original on Poinsett!

As we closed out another incredible year, we took time to slow down, enjoy each other’s company, and celebrate the people who make Lakeview so special. This team has poured so much into our students all year long, and today was a small way to recognize the heart, energy, and dedication they bring every single day.

🎓✨ This morning, we celebrated our incredible 8th graders as they officially crossed the stage and closed out their middle school journey.

Every student was recognized and we honored the academic, athletic, and leadership skills our students demonstrated this year. We were blown away by the incredible turnout from families and loved ones who filled the room to cheer on the Class of 2030.

We are so proud of the growth, resilience, and legacy this class brought to Lakeview. Congratulations, students! Your future is bright. ✨ Once a Lion, always a Lion. 🦁

The celebrations continued on our last full day with students as we recognized our Crowned Lions for semester 2! 👑🦁

These students truly raised the bar this year — demonstrating excellence both academically and behaviorally by earning zero DPs and achieving honor roll all semester long. We are so proud of the consistency, leadership, and character they showed throughout the year.

A massive thank you to our friends at Canal Insurance Company for generously providing lunch for all of our crowned students today! Your support helped make this celebration even more special. 💙🧡

Today, we celebrated our ACCESS Victory Lap — honoring students who tested out of ESOL services, met their ACCESS growth target, or came within tenths of a point of exiting. 💙🧡

For many of our students, this accomplishment is truly life-changing. Fully acquiring a second language takes years of perseverance, courage, and hard work. These students have learned to read, write, speak, and succeed academically in a language that was once unfamiliar to them — and that achievement opens doors for the rest of their lives. We could not be more proud.

A huge thank you to Infinite Possibilities, Inc, Elevating Families-Feeding Change and OnTrack Greenville for helping make this celebration possible with food and Kona Ice of Greenville SC for our students.

We also want to give a MASSIVE shoutout to the Greenville Triumph SC for spending the afternoon with us — bringing swag, signing merch, playing pickup games, and making the day unforgettable. ⚽🍧🦁

🥳🍗 Thanks to Bojangles' on White Horse Road for providing delicious biscuits for our staff as we wrap up our last few days with students!

Today, our students had the opportunity to hear directly from volunteers across our community who shared their businesses, careers, and professional journeys to inspire the next generation of Lakeview Lions. From entrepreneurship to public service to skilled professions, our students were reminded that their futures are full of possibilities. ✨

A huge thank you to our counseling team for organizing and coordinating this incredible career fair alongside our related arts team. Experiences like these help students connect what they are learning today to the opportunities waiting for them tomorrow. 🦁💼🎓

🦁 Hands On Greenville Day brought some serious care to our campus! Huge thanks to Canal Insurance Company for constantly supporting our school and showing to refresh our courtyard and exterior with fresh mulch and shrubbery. 🌱✨

And shoutout to OnTrack Greenville for continuing to support efforts like these and helping invest in our Lakeview community! 🙌
