Chartered as the Kappa Xi Chapter of Alpha T ATO was the first fraternity founded after the Civil War.
Founded by Otis Allan Glazebrook, Erskine Mayo Ross and Alfred Marshall, at the Virginia Military Institute on September 11, 1865 upon Christian-not Greek-principles.
ATO Gold Softball moves on to the Semifinals with a 17-6 win vs Beta!

Congratulations to brothers of Kappa Xi for winning back to back top chapter along with 4 other awards at this years Greek Banquet!
3rd place in this year's Homecoming with Phi Mu!
Today is a day we celebrate the American spirit. Remembering the lives of all those lost in the attack in 2001, but also cherishing their memory, the bravery and heroism shown by all, and the will power of the American people to overcome tragedy. We as brothers celebrate our founding, as a fraternity which sought to amend the divide in the American people after the Civil War. We look to our creed where our founders wrote, "To know no North, no South, no East, no West, but to know man as man, to teach that true men the world over should stand together and contend for supremacy of good over evil; to teach not politics, but morals; to foster, not partisanship, but the recognition of true merit wherever found.." These words hold ever true then as they do today. Join with us today, as we remember two days where we put aside our differences and came together as an American people.
