Yesterday was the SCBDA All-State Band performances and my student, Charlotte, performed with the Senior All-State Band as 4th chair flute! Charlotte is currently a junior at Easley High School. 🎶🪈

I am so unbelievably proud of her and everything she has accomplished. Go Charlotte! 🔥

Hi Everyone! In just 11 days, the Kayla Noelle Flute Studio will be hosting our fall recital, Harvest Harmonies! 🍁🪈🎶 Come listen to some of the students from the studio perform live!

This event is free to the public and it will be an amazing event! A light reception will follow the performances. It will also be live streamed (link provided closer to the recital) for those of you who can't make it in person.

Meet Kayla Deming, flute teacher of the Kayla Noelle Flute Studio! 🪈✨

Kayla Deming (Cieslak) is a professional flutist located in Greenville, South Carolina. She has been teaching in the area since 2023 and currently holds a studio of 20+ students in both Pickens and Greenville County schools. She also teaches a few students online who are located in North Carolina and Michigan. Even though she has only been teaching flute full time in Greenville since 2023, she began teaching flute in 2016 and fell in love with it very quickly.

Originally from Macomb, Michigan, Kayla started playing flute at the age of 10 and was inspired to play after hearing her mom, who is also a professional flutist and private lesson teacher, practice her flute. Kayla went on to pursue a Bachelor of Music Degree - Instrumental Performance from Eastern Michigan University and studied with Dr. Julie Stone. Then received her Master of Music Degree - Flute Performance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and studied with Dr. Tadeu Coelho, where she was his Teaching Assistant. She now subs with local orchestras, including Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra on piccolo, and performs at many churches around Greenville.

Students in the Kayla Noelle Flute Studio range in age from 10-65 and are at all different levels. Her students have gone on to receive top rankings at Solo and Ensemble, place Principal Flute in their local Youth Orchestras, win national competitions, place in All-State bands, studied at summer music festivals, and have gone on to study music in college.

When Kayla is not teaching or playing her flute, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her husband, Jaron, and their kitten Lucy!
