Children 18 and under can enjoy a FREE nutritious lunch while making memories and exploring all the exciting activities Summer Adventure has to offer, including:

Greenville County Schoolsβ Food and Nutrition Services will be participating in the Seamless Summer Food Service Program during the summer months.
Nutritionally-balanced meals will be provided to all children regardless of race, color, s*x, disability, age or national origin during summer vacation when school breakfasts and lunches are not available. All children 18 years old and younger are eligible for meals at no charge. All meals must be consumed on-site.

Not planning to purchase admission to Roper Mountain Science Center? No problem! Our food truck will be set up in the main parking lot, serving free lunch to all children 18 and under.

Kick off your summer at Roper Mountain by joining us at Summer Adventure! Opening in one week on Wednesday, May 27, you'll have the opportunity to slow down and learn more about some of Earthβs slowest creatures with our traveling exhibit Survival of the Slowest!
Join us Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Get up close and personal to hundreds of butterflies in our Butterfly Encounter (line closes at 3:30 p.m.)
- Encounter our traveling exhibit Survival of the Slowest
- Explore our Environmental Science building & exhibits including the Orientation, Nature Exchange, Our Water Story, and Sustainable Future
