The team at our Armstrong Elementary curbside meal pickup location was busy today serving meals to families in the community! 🍎🥪

Need summer meals for your children? Our curbside pickup sites are open every Monday and Thursday at the following locations:

📍 Armstrong Elementary
📍 Ellen Woodside Elementary
📍 Rudolph Gordon School

Free meals are available for children, making it easy to keep kids fueled all summer long! ☀️

We are in full swing at Connections Café, serving hundreds of children enjoying the Summer Adventure at Roper Mountain Science Center!

Children 18 and under can enjoy a FREE nutritious lunch while making memories and exploring all the exciting activities Summer Adventure has to offer, including:

🦋 Experience the Butterfly Encounter (line closes at 3:30 p.m.)
🌎 Explore the Environmental Science Building and exhibits
🌊 Pet a stingray in the Marine Lab
🚜 Discover the Living History Farm (through 2:30 p.m.)
🦖 Visit the NEW Outdoor Dinosaur Trails
🪳 Enjoy Eat a Bug Club, cockroach races, and live animal talks on Saturdays

Greenville County Schools’ Food and Nutrition Services will be participating in the Seamless Summer Food Service Program during the summer months.

Nutritionally-balanced meals will be provided to all children regardless of race, color, s*x, disability, age or national origin during summer vacation when school breakfasts and lunches are not available. All children 18 years old and younger are eligible for meals at no charge. All meals must be consumed on-site.

Kick off your summer at Roper Mountain by joining us at Summer Adventure! Opening in one week on Wednesday, May 27, you'll have the opportunity to slow down and learn more about some of Earth’s slowest creatures with our traveling exhibit Survival of the Slowest!

Join us Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Get up close and personal to hundreds of butterflies in our Butterfly Encounter (line closes at 3:30 p.m.)
- Encounter our traveling exhibit Survival of the Slowest
- Explore our Environmental Science building & exhibits including the Orientation, Nature Exchange, Our Water Story, and Sustainable Future
- Pet a stingray in our Marine Lab
- Discover our Living History Farm (through 2:30 p.m.)
