I took a way too long of a break.

TODAY! Me and my family moved from South Carolina, USA- to Munich Germany for my husband new job at Bmw.

A lot of meltdowns and hard moments during the travel but It has felt easy because I planned for the meltdowns to happen.

On top of, we are all pretty sick in the curry house hold so instead of thinking things should be different. I’m leaning in and going with the flow.

So here’s to a week of new and different.. and I hope your week is going well for you.

Becoming aware of a pattern that you don’t want to continue and pass on to your children, is such great awareness in not repeating patterns that caused harm to you.

Facing your triggers and becoming a calm parent is a job within your self.

But as you see, it’s hard but doable.

The laughing

The screaming

And the high pitch crying,

The fighting

All the things that send you over the edge

Where you yell, snap and make threats to get everyone quiet

Because everyone being quiet would make everything

Less overwhelming for you.

Everyone doing as you say, would allow you to be calm

But I promise, you can be the parent that joins in on the phone.

Trying enjoy the playing

And isn’t on a thin string to snapping
