Excellent Awareness and De-escalation training event with Fountain Inn First Baptist Church’s Gate Keepers. Great group of parishioners eagerly learning about layers of protection, engagement constraints, the action equation, recognizing anger and potential violence, posturing and controlling the environment and much much more. Terrific people and a fantastic evening.

Congratulations to the Dynamic Response Solutions class 002–2023. You not only completed the statutory and practical pistol qualification requirements necessary for receiving the SC CWP but are now we’ll versed in the axiom of “If it isn’t raining then you really aren’t training!”

Most people do not consider the possibility that they could or would be targeted for violence. Violence is no respecter of persons, and usually catches it’s victims completely unaware, or unprepared act. To make matters even worse most lethal attacks take place after sunset when people are less aware of their surroundings because time and space appears different at night. But since it is statistically more likely that violence will take place in the dark, is that when you are training to protect yourself or your family? Is that when you rehearse not only your personal protection plans, but also how to use the tools available to enhance your survivability? Dynamic Response Solutions trains citizens how to recognize anomalies, use ambient light and employ tactical light devices to respond and mitigate loss in hours of low light and limited visibility. Congratulations to “Bobby” for successfully completing last Thursday’s three hour block of instruction. 

Fantastic fi****ms qualification and engagement skills training with the Fellowship Greenville Church Safety Team yesterday.

The fundamentals of effective shooting were followed by threat recognition, interaction with first responders, thorough close quarter contact reaction, speed, accuracy, alternative firing positions, lateral movement and actions on contact techniques.

It was an honor preparing these volunteers for the task of protecting the flock.

Resistance to sudden violence, for the preservation not only of my person, my limbs, and life, but of my property, is an indisputable right of nature which I have never surrendered to the public by the compact of society, and which perhaps, I could not surrender if I would.
