One of the things my dad cared a lot about was farming and bees. We’ve found a way to help support a permanent faculty position at NC State. A “bee professor” if you will. My dad worked tirelessly in the last 2 years of his life to support an endowment that would permanently support this faculty position. Bees and their pollination are the foundation of agriculture and my dad fell in love with the science.
In memory of my father, please consider donating to the "North Carolina State Beekeeper's Association Faculty Award in support of Apiculture." Checks may be made payable to "The Endowment Fund of NCSU" and mailed to Campus Box 7645, NCSU, Raleigh, NC 27695. Please include "In memory of Donald Faulkner" on the memo line of the check. Give to NC State
A minimum gift of $200 to the Walk of Honor, or $250 to the Gallop of Honor, entitles you to an engraved brick (Walk of Honor) or horseshoe (Gallop of Honor) to be displayed on campus at the College of Veterinary Medicine. A gift of $500 to the Walk of Honor entitles you to an engraved paver.

BACK TO SCHOOL TIPS: Homework/Classwork in the home.
ALERT: schooling at home presents some pretty unique difficulties. Here are a few pointers for navigating this new challenge.
1. Have a set place and time to complete schoolwork/homework.
2. Make sure it’s a place where work can get done (avoid bed, sofas, recliners).
3. Make sure workspace is arranged for work with all necessary materials.
4. START with the LEAST favorite subject if possible.
INSIDE TIP: if you follow these steps consistently, your kid will start to associate this space/time/environment with completing their work!
