Music Together Mosaic Melodies is offering all of their fall Music Together classes for free this week, including Rhythm Kids! Rhythm Kids is an awesome class for kiddos ages 4-8 years, and the studio has daytime and evening classes to accomodate homeschool and pre-K schedules. This class also can be used to fulfill homeschooling music class requirements 😊 There’s an additional Friday 1 pm class that will begin next week!

I’m so excited to announce my first virtual workshop: Compassionate Breath.

This workshop is for caregivers and educators of all kinds, parents, grandparents, teachers, nannies, etc. If you care for children and have ever found yourself at the end of your day thinking of the things you wish you’d done differently, or feeling guilty or stuck, this is the place for you. Join an amazing community of people working to deepen their relationships to themselves and the children in their care through compassion, connection, and empowerment.

Hosted by Music Together Mosaic Melodies : Your baby is a natural-born music-maker—cooing when you sing a nursery rhyme or wiggling when you dance to your favorite song. Even wee babies are alert to musical sounds and respond to melody and rhythm. In one of our Babies or Mixed-Age classes, you’ll learn musical ways to interact and bond with your baby, support their brain development, and nurture their inner musician.

We’re working on filling our summer classes! If you have a little one (or two!) ages 0-5, our mixed ages classes are the one for you. If your kiddos are a little older and ready for more independence, try out our Rhythm Kids classes for ages 4-8!

This spring I had the opportunity to do something very exciting, and pursued a professional development certification through Music Together. It was an in depth, reflective process that deepened my understanding of early music education, working with families, and my own growth and strength areas. There’s nothing like filming one of your own classes and watching it with a self-reflection packet to make you confront yourself as an instructor! I’m so proud of this achievement, and grateful to be teaching such an incredible curriculum through the best studio ever 💜 I can’t wait to see you all this summer in our classes!!

I spent last week leading this group of awesome kiddos in Rhythm Kids camp- we played games, and did musical and creative activities that helped develop leadership and musical improvisation skills, musical techniques, and that taught us about the Taiko drumming traditions of Japan 🤍♥️
