So excited to launch our first Renewal Gathering tomorrow at Rafiki School in Wakiso. Our RUI team has planned for months to host 100 village educators for confession/worship, networking, and trainings in the foundations of Christian education. PLEASE pray for God’s Spirit to call teachers and administrators to Himself while He renews and transforms their hearts and minds. To Him be all the glory!🙏🏼🇺🇬

Great meeting this evening with the Uganda Christian University (UCU) DVC (Dr Kitayimbwa), Dean of Education (Dr Ocheng), Directors of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (Dr Annet and Dr Faith), and the Curriculum Coordinator (Doreen). We have set up a 4 day retreat from September 9-12 for our RUI team leaders and leaders from UCU (including both DVC’s). May God guide each step as we move closer to launching Renew University in partnership with UCU.🙏🏼🇺🇬

Good evening, Friends. Tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon we launch our RUI Emerging Educator Teacher Training Program with 27 recent graduates from universities around Uganda. As we begin this one year program, these young men and women will spend a week with us at our office in Mukono working through 19 training sessions with our RUI faculty facilitating. Before they return in 3 months, these new educators will be applying what they learn within our partner schools. We are desperate for your supporting prayers for our RUI emerging educators, faculty members and administration (who have been working tirelessly to prepare this program for several months now). To God be all the glory. Transformed People Transform People!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Renew Uganda Initiative has been asked to develop a 3-year accredited Christian teacher training college (we are calling it “Renew University” or “Renew U”) for East African educators! This is the first of its kind. The pictures below show several of our amazing RUI “Renew U” team members meeting all day yesterday at our national office in Mukono. Please pray for us as we seek God’s wisdom, strength, unity, favor, and provision. This only succeeds if the Spirit of God guides our every step. To Him be all the glory!
