Our program is about development. Being a part of this sisterhood is a 2FTN commitment to growth physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally & academically. Since the 04-05 season, the Pride Women's Basketball team has won 8 USA South Regular Season Titles and 2 Conference Tournament Championships. The Pride has made 5 trips to the NCAA Tournament including a Sweet Sixteen ap

pearance in 2011. The program has featured 3 All-Americans and numerous All Conference, Conference Players of the Year and Conference Rookies of the Year. One of the most special program accomplishments has been the over 25 Academic All Conference selections. 🚨 Coaching Staff Update 🚨 Greensboro College Women’s Basketball has added Maddie Gillie and Markayla Massenburg.

Gillie arrives from Lenoir-Rhyne where she served as a Graduate Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach for the Bears for the 2025-2026 season and helped the team to a 26-6 record and a SAC Conference Championship. She was a 4-year women’s basketball student-athlete at Mars Hill University from 2021-2025 where she scored 1,400 career points.

Massenburg arrives from Guilford College where she recently graduated after a 4-year career as a women’s basketball student athlete for the Quakers, appearing in 84 career games, including 25 starts last season. She played for current Pride Women’s Basketball Head Coach Aaron Fernandez when he was an assistant at Guilford College during the 2023-2024 season.
