A Message to the Purple Charlotte Steppers Family Regarding TITANS Weekend 2026
For eight years, TITANS Weekend has been one of the proudest traditions we’ve built together — a weekend defined by excellence, community, and the kind of quality experience our dance family has come to expect and deserve.
It’s because we hold that standard so highly that we’re writing to you today with a difficult but necessary decision: TITANS Weekend 2026, scheduled for August 21–23, has been cancelled.
This was not a decision made lightly. Behind the scenes, event production involves complex hotel and venue commitments made many months in advance. Due to circumstances beyond what could be resolved in time for this year’s event, we are unable to move forward in a way that meets the standard you’ve come to trust from Purple Charlotte Steppers. We regret the inconvenience we know this may cause our supporters and partners, but we’d rather make this hard call now than to deliver an experience that falls short of eight years of excellence we’ve built.
Here’s what happens next for ticket holders:
• Full ticket refunds for Titans 2026 are available to every ticket holder. All refunds will be completed within 30 days.
• Or, transfer the full value of your ticket to any upcoming Purple Charlotte Steppers event — our way of saying we intend to continue serving you dance excellence and we want to remain your trusted choice.
• Possible flight cancellation expense reimbursement: Once all event ticket refunds have been completed, we will evaluate flight cancellation impact on a case-by-case basis for affected travelers.

To our vendors, host hotel, sponsors, and — most importantly — the dancers and supporters who show up year after year: thank you. Your trust is the reason TITANS Weekend has become what it is, and your trust is exactly why we refuse to compromise on quality now.
TITANS Weekend will return. When it does, it will return the way you deserve — bigger, sharper, and worth the wait.
