Elevation Recovery Reminder: Simplicity vs. Complexity

Sometimes we miss our audience because we’re talking above where they are. Everyone is not on the same page…
And that’s okay.

But if your message is too complex, too elevated, or too far ahead…
You may not be reaching who you’re called to help.

Simplicity doesn’t mean you lack depth It means you understand your audience enough to meet them where they are.

Real impact happens when people can:
✔ Understand you
✔ Relate to you
✔ Apply what you’re saying

Don’t just speak to impress…SPEAK TO CONNECT!
Because connection is what creates transformation.

SOMETIMES YOU NEED A CHEERLEADER… SO TODAY, I BECAME ONE!

Now listen… let me be real for a moment
I was NEVER a cheerleader… my daughters were!

I was the one on the sidelines like:
“Go baby! That’s my child right there!”

But today… I had to switch it up a little 💙

Because sometimes in life,
you just need to hear that SOMEBODY sees you…
even when you feel like you’re not quite “there” yet.

You need to know that SOMEBODY appreciates you…
even when it doesn’t look like what you expected.

And let’s be honest…
everybody needs at least one person in their corner
who wants you to succeed…
and doesn’t want anything from you in return.

So today…
I took off my tomboy outfit
and put on my cheerleader gear

Just to remind YOU…

💙 I’m rooting for you today!
💙 God is rooting for you today!
💙 And you are SUPER AMAZING right now, as you are!

Don’t wait until you “arrive” to believe it.
Don’t wait until everything lines up to walk in it.

GO OUT TODAY and do EVERYTHING God designed for you to do!

Because guess what…
You already have what it takes

Coaching Tip vs. Conversation

Conversation says:
“They’re just posting because they’re hurt.”

Coaching says:
“People who are still connected to your past, uncomfortable with your growth, or unfamiliar with your language… will misinterpret your elevation as emotion.”

Let me help you understand something:
Just because someone feels triggered does NOT mean you are speaking from hurt.
Sometimes your healing sounds like offense to people who chose to stay the same.

This is growth… not grievance.
