We ended Day 2 with a staff meeting, a supply giveaway, and a special surprise. Each staff member received an autographed copy of Ron Clark’s The Essential 55! What a great way to end the day with inspiration, excitement, and Jaguar pride!

| The first day of school for our traditional schools is finally here! That means that ALL students and staff are back in GCS.💙

We would like to take a moment to wish everyone a fantastic start to the year. To our students- remember that every day is an opportunity to learn something new and that you can achieve your dreams through hard work and dedication.🌟To our staff- thank you for your tireless efforts in positively shaping the lives of our students. We could not accomplish what we do without you.📚

Today was a great day!!! It started with the Boo Hoo Breakfast and continued with lots of smiles, learning, and reviewing expectations. This year is off to a fabulous start!!!

Tomorrow is the big day!
The Jones Elementary PTA is excited to welcome our students, families, teachers and staff to a new school year! We enjoyed meeting many of you last week and look forward to building connections and creating memorable experiences, while working together for our school.

Thank you so much to the dynamic ladies of the Delta Sigma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, and the gentlemen of the Nu Omega Chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated, for their generous donations of school supplies to the students of Jones. Your kindness and support are truly appreciated. We are so grateful for your commitment to helping our students start the school year prepared and ready to succeed!

Connecting with our newest Jaguars at Popsicles in the Park was so much fun! We loved meeting our new students and families, connecting with teachers and new friends, grabbing some Jones swag, and cooling off with a sweet treat!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made our time together so special. We can’t wait to see you again on Thursday for Open House! Let the countdown to an amazing school year begin!
