Hello everyone!!
My name is Alex Nix & I am so ready to start this journey! I am a licensed teacher with 4 years of experience & still currently teaching my sweet 4th graders! I have many more years of experience with teaching kids through preschool, subbing, and tutoring.
I am wanting to start this side gig because I can never find an affordable and easy to get to tutoring service. Teaching is my passion and I want to help as many families as I can. I will be offering tutoring of any kind (homework help, any core subject, handwriting, study habits, etc.), enrichment for kiddos that need to be challenged (higher education activities than they are receiving in school - i.e. 4th grade material to a high 3rd grader), and music lessons (piano, guitar, ukulele, and vocals).
I will be offering these lessons inside my home or at a public space such as the library, coffee shop, etc. I am currently working on getting a spot in my house designated for tutoring/lessons! I will also do online lessons if you feel that is best for your family!
