Congratulations to this year’s GCC Theater Drama Award winners (l to r) Maura Ronan, Alex West, and Jesse Archambault! Not only did they excel in theater, but all three graduated with honors.

GCC's literary magazine, Plum, is accepting submissions of written, visual and musical art for its spring 2026 edition! Plum publishes writing and artwork by students, staff, faculty and alums, alongside new, emerging and established writers and artists from our region. The deadline to submit is April 1.

GCC is hosting WriteAngles, the annual writers’ conference produced by Straw Dog Writers Guild () on Saturday, Oct. 18. This full-day event offers workshops, panels and “Agents Café” meetings for writers at all levels, with a keynote by Franny Choi, a celebrated poet and essayist whose work has appeared in the New York Times, The Atlantic and The Paris Review. GCC Professor Kelly Popoff will discuss her work currently on display in the annual Art Faculty Exhibit and her preceding work for the last few years. Join us in the South Gallery on Tuesday, September 30 at 12:00 p.m.

We’re excited to celebrate GCC alum Holly Tetreault and the launch of her new podcast, Lifelong Learners! The podcast explores autism, learning, and advocacy for education and disability rights. Holly has been a wonderful friend of the library, and we’re thrilled to cheer her on as she embarks on this new venture.
