๐Happy Friday, my village!
I am looking forward to meeting with those of you planning to attend tomorrow's workshop, Communicating Through the Stages of Dementia! If you are unable to attend tomorrow's workshop but would like to attend this particular course, I am offering an additional session at the Pendleton Community Public Library on Saturday, August 29 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM in their Magnolia Room. (This event is not sponsored by PCPL).
We also have Brain Health & Cognitive Wellness scheduled for Saturday, September 5 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the Community Foundation of Hancock County (971 W US Hwy 40, Greenfield, IN). This is a course great not only for dementia caregivers but for all adults wanting to learn more about how to care for your brain AND body to maximize cognitive health in today's world! Together we will discuss daily and weekly lifestyle habits that can preserve cognitive function and lower the risk of developing cognitive impairment.
*We will discuss many big topics that affect brain health in America right now: nutrition, SCREEN TIME, exercise, sleep habits, stress management, social relationships, and more!*
If you would like to attend either of these workshops - please call, text, or email Lauren Ewing at 317-586-8089 or [email protected].
