We are proud to share that Glenwood Educational Center was invited to the County Commission meeting to accept the Proclamation for Autism Awareness Month!

Ms. Emily Whittaker, our ELEM BEAM teacher, accepted this honor on behalf of Greene County Schools. She also had the opportunity to speak about our programs and highlight the services we provide to support students with Autism.

We are incredibly proud of our BEAM programs and grateful to Ms. Emily for representing our school and district so well.💙

The GCS Board of Education voted last night to update the 2025-2026 calendar. Students will now report to school on Monday, March 23, 2026. This is a change from the professional development day due to missed days for inclement weather.
