Greencastle High School marketing students are looking for local businesses and nonprofit organizations to partner with this semester.

Each participating organization will be paired with a student who will develop an integrated marketing campaign based on one specific event, product, or service. The campaign will include no more than 45 days of planned marketing content.

We are hoping for at least 10 partnerships, or up to 17, for each student to have a unique experience.

If your organization hopes to use the student-created content, we recommend choosing an event, product, or service campaign planned for late 2026 or 2027. We expect our students to produce thoughtful, creative work that could be valuable to your organization. However, because this is a student learning experience, we understand that the finished campaign may not be something your organization chooses to implement. You are welcome to use it, adapt it, provide feedback, or simply allow it to serve as an authentic learning opportunity for the student.

Meetings with the student are optional but encouraged. Organizations may also request more than one campaign idea, potentially allowing them to work with more than one student.

We would love to begin making connections between students and business partners by Wednesday, August 19.

During Monday morning meetings this week, a few member of the TCC’s Expo Grant Committee woke up early on late start Monday to award the first Expo Grants!

When we were planning the Greencastle Arts and Innovation Expo this fall, we started planning our sponsorship drive but realized we really didn’t need any money. Last year, our sponsorship drive had the goal of raising enough money to purchase our direct-to-film printer for our apparel production.

After a small series of miracles, we were able to purchase that printer that has been working hard all year.

So what we would do this year at the Expo?

Our students decided to raise money to give back to teachers. We have amazing teachers who want to do so much more. They developed the Expo Grant to help fund projects for teachers who want to do creative projects in their classrooms. They don’t care if is tied to test scores or standards - just a love for learning.

These students raised $8,500 to distribute for the Expo Grant. A total of 15 grants were submitted and they were able to fund 10 grants fully, and the 11th partially. The grants were meticulously evaluated by a student committee for student impact and creativity.

Stay tuned for updates on the projects that were awarded and special recognition for the sponsors.

It was a busy day for the TCC. We are holding interviews for our leadership, production, design, and cafe positions for the next school year. We are not ready to say goodbye to our TCC seniors, but they are making sure we are ready for next year. The TCC is a special part of Greencastle High School.
