As part of our HSSD Convocation to start the school year, seven staff members were randomly chosen to receive an extra day of PTO. π Throughout the year, I had the pleasure of subbing for these awesome educators, and truly "walking in their shoes" for a day. I learned so much, and was reminded how special our students are. I gained an even deeper appreciation for the care, effort, and love our staff pour into their jobs each and every day. π
I wrapped up my year of subbing with Mrs. Harrison's amazing third graders at Forest Glen Elementary. Thank you for welcoming me into your classrooms this school year! π
