A new sculpture by artist Karen Yank has officially been installed outside our soon-to-be home.
The installation was funded through Colorado’s Art in Public Places program, which helps bring public art into state-funded spaces across Colorado. Known for her large-scale abstract steel sculptures, Yank’s work can be found in public spaces across the country — and now, future UNC COM students will pass by one every day.

Meet our associate professor and chair of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, Kamlesh Yadav, Ph.D.
Dr. Yadav brings over 20 years of experience in medical education, curriculum design and academic leadership to our college. Known for his modern, integrated approaches, he is passionate about active-learning models that boost student engagement and critical thinking.
