Longfellow Elementary School

10/14/2026

This week to celebrate our Lynx we held a Random Attendance Day! We love seeing our Lynx every day!

Did you know that students who miss 2 days per month of school will miss 18 days a year and 234 days by the time they graduate high school?!? Students with higher attendance demonstrate better academic growth, positive peer and adult relationships, increased confidence, and are more likely to graduate high school!

We love our Lynx! Thanks for celebrating with us!

Our PTA is already planning events to carry our kids and staff through the year but we could always use more support. Supporting the PTA doesn't look the same for everyone.

Donations matter.
Volunteering and time matters.
Leadership and willingness to take on tasks matters.

Our next PTA meeting is September 29th at 3:30pm in the library! We hope to see you there!

If you have questions, reach out to Ms. Fulbright at [email protected]
