⚡ AED FACTS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ⚡

❤️ Anyone can use an AED.
You do NOT need medical training.

🔊 Step 1: Turn it on.
🔊 Step 2: Follow the voice prompts.

📍 Place one pad vertically below the right collarbone.
📍 Place the second pad horizontally on the left side below the armpit/rib cage.

⚠️ Pads must be placed on bare skin.
⚠️ Pads should never touch each other.

👶 Child pads are preferred for children.
If child pads aren't available, adult pads can be used.

🤖 The AED does the hard part.
It analyzes the heart rhythm and will only deliver a shock if one is needed.

The most important thing?
Don't be afraid to use it.

An AED can't make the situation worse, but it could help save a life. ❤️

❤️ CPR Week is here! ❤️

Over the next few days, I'll be sharing tips, facts, myths, and quick videos about CPR, AEDs, choking emergencies, and the simple skills that can save a life. Stay tuned for posts and reels designed to help you feel more prepared and confident in an emergency.

The truth is, most people don't learn CPR because they expect to use it. They learn it because they hope they'll never have to.

But if someone you love suddenly collapsed—a spouse, parent, child, friend, or neighbor—would you know what to do while help is on the way?

CPR isn't just a certification. It's a gift you give the people who matter most.

Follow along this week, share these posts with family and friends, and help spread the message that lifesaving skills belong to everyone. ❤️
