Jesus has come and is coming again. Jesus is the Christmastide. He is your Evergreen, shining eternally in glory and one day He will come back to earth in all His glory to take His children home.

ADVENT WEEK 4 - LOVE

🎶 So where’s your heart going to find the peace it’s longing for?
In Christmas cheer, in fleeting pleasure, uncertain and unsure?
Could it be that what you crave is something so much more?
A constant source of life eternal, a shelter in the storm? 🎶

God loves us. He loves you; He loves me. And the perfect love of God is revealed to us in Jesus. In every situation Jesus encountered on this earth, he loves perfectly. Jesus’ love always offers grace with truth, which is the most loving thing anyone can ever do.

He’s always reminding me that He is the Life

The miracle of joy at Christmas is simply this: Jesus is Immanuel – which means God with us. Isaiah 7:14 was fulfilled the night that Jesus was born. “Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and his name will be called Immanuel.”

We all face winters of the soul — times when the disappointments of life and the reality of living in a broken world can be overwhelming. It is in those moments that Jesus invites you to come to Him and give Him your burdens. He will carry them for you and give you peace.

My Advent Devotional - Evergreen is now available for purchase!

Starting November 30, advent is an intentional time to focus on Jesus during the month of December as you prepare for Christmas Day. The devotional features four devotions that will give you scriptures and reflections for the season. You will do one devotion a week either privately or with your family.

The devotion is great for anyone, written with all ages in mind. There are ideas for journaling, creating and singing! Hopefully this devotional will inspire you to love Jesus more this season! I used the lyrics of my song, Evergreen, as the launching point for each week.
