Our fellows had the wonderful opportunity to present their research at AACP 2022!
🏆 PGY2 Drug Information Fellow Delaney Strong’s research entitled “Evaluation of Perceived Stress and Resilience Among Academic-Affiliated Pharmaceutical Industry Fellows” qualified as a trainee finalist poster!
🏆 PGY2 Drug Information Fellow Divya Desai's research entitled "Improving Pharmacy Student Communication Skills Through Deliberate Practice of a Simulated Drug Information Request" achieved second place in the Drug Information and Library Sciences section!

✈️Fun Fact: CEO of Sisters in Medicine, a healthcare organization geared towards promoting health literacy and information to underserved populations
🏆Fellowship accomplishment she's the most proud of: During my fellowship at Takeda, I participated in the approval of an FDA expedited pathway called a Breakthrough Therapy Designation (BTD). I had the opportunity to observe and contribute to the BTD process for a life-changing investigational asset used in narcolepsy patients.

✈️At the beginning of this week the Purdue fellows across the country were invited back to Purdue to participate in the Fall Fellowship Workshop for our P3 and P4 students. Fellows had the opportunity to mentor industry-focused students regarding their CV and held mock interviews for the students! Fellows also had the incredible opportunity of hearing from professionals at Eli Lilly and Company and TG therapeutics regarding their career paths in industry.

Last week Purdue's FDA-Affiliated fellows in drug information and medication safety had the pleasure of speaking to Purdue's IPHO chapter! Students had the opportunity to ask the fellows questions about daily activities, interview tips, and learn more about Purdue's FDA fellowships. Thanks again for having us!
