If you are not learning about Non QM and DSCR loans, you may be missing a whole lane of opportunity. 👀
Not every borrower fits inside the traditional loan box.
And not every referral partner is looking for the same basic product knowledge.
Investors.
Self employed borrowers.
Real estate agents with unique clients.
Borrowers who need a different way to qualify.

Open houses are a great place to start. Get out there, meet Realtors, introduce yourself, save their contact info, and follow up after.

I see this question every single day in new loan officer groups…

“I just got licensed. Who’s hiring?”

But honestly, that’s not the right question.

The better question is:
Where do I want to work?
How can I provide value?
How do I start building the foundation for a real long-term career?

Getting licensed is just the beginning. The loan officers who grow the fastest are the ones who start networking, learning, building relationships, and getting involved in the industry early.
