Designed to feel modern without ever drifting into coldness, the architecture pairs clean geometry with warm wood and a palette chosen specifically for its lakeshore setting.

To support that vision, our team wrapped the home in custom architectural metalwork:
- 24 gauge silver flush panel soffit, fascia, and roof edge metals around the perimeter
- Musket gray aluminum siding panels and columns adding depth, contrast, and warmth
- Clean, crisp detailing that elevates the design rather than competing with it

The result is a home that feels both elevated and grounded.
Because great metalwork doesn’t just finish a home.

A couple of us were able to get away from work for a while yesterday to enjoy a beautiful fall day raising money for Rising Kites at the annual Associated Builders and Contractors, Western Michigan Chapter Charity Clay Shoot. The morning began with Rising Kites Coffee and donuts. We were able to hear about Rising Kites’ mission to celebrate and support those within the Down syndrome community.

To add a little spice on the sporting clays course, we brought out our CAT 10-55 forklift to allow KCCL - Kent County Conservation League to throw some great tower birds to a couple of the stations. KCCL hosted a great event as always!

This past weekend marked Sam’s 10 year anniversary working at . When we say “The Difference is in the Details”, Sam epitomizes that – he is a true craftsman with a skill and dedication to perfecting his work. While he can do just about anything in the world, he specializes in copper work and finding creative solutions for unique challenges.

Sam is elusive for the camera, so his work stands to tell the story of his first 10 years at BSM. Thank you, Sam, for excellence and dedication to your work!
