Due to forecasted inclement weather today, Dorsey campuses will close at 1PM ET. All on-ground afternoon and evening classes/activities will be cancelled and made-up as necessary. Online courses are not impacted.

Earlier this week, we got word that a friend and colleague, David Maatman, had passed away. It is difficult to describe the positive impact that David had on the success of the Academy. David was working as an educator at AeroMed when Steve first became an EMS Instructor/Coordinator at Mercy Ambulance. At that time, David was a leader for BTLS of Michigan and was an active ACLS and PALS Instructor. He was a mentor and supporter of Steve as he became an experienced Instructor. When Steve started the Academy, David was an original Board member and helped us make decisions that pushed us to remain focused on quality education. He was a character with a big personality! Teaching with and for him was always enjoyable. David was a tremendous influence on the EMS industry. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
