It costs $470 per day to run The Power of Education Foundation, which supports school children in Haiti to have a brighter future.

It’s hard to imagine the joy and fear that coincide in these kids lives.

✨️Introducing our Chopped GR 2024 JUDGES✨️

✨️Paul Lee and his wife, Jessica, share a love for hospitality and adventure, having met in the hospitality industry. They travel extensively, immersing themselves in local cultures across Asia, Central America, Europe, and North America. In 2009, they opened their first restaurant, the Wi******er, aiming to create a neighborhood watering hole with global menu influences. Their success has led to the development of two more restaurants, Donkey and Hancock.

✨️Chef Jenn Struik is a chef and registered dietitian inspired by food science and nutrition. Her career focuses on creating flavorful yet nutritionally purposeful food. She has appeared on Food Network, winning "Supermarket Stakeout" and being a runner-up on "Chopped." She co-authored a study on ketogenic diets for critically ill patients, and developed the viral Pabst Hard Coffee Poke Cake recipe. She now channels her expertise into educating future culinary professionals as an Assistant Professor at the Secchia Institute for Culinary Education.

✨️Liz Della Croce, the creator and author of The Lemon Bowl®, a healthy food and travel blog started in 2010. Liz focuses on seasonal ingredients and whole foods, with recipes inspired by global flavors, including Syrian and Jewish dishes from her childhood. She has been successful in long-term weight loss through healthy eating and regular exercise, and she is passionate about helping others achieve similar goals. She has appeared on the TODAY Show, her local NBC affiliate, and has been featured in various national publications such as Woman’s World, Good Housekeeping, Real Simple, Shape, and Fitness Magazine, among others.
