Congratulations to LaMon Walker on earning his Certified Flight Instructor Instrument rating. 🎉

As a CFII, LaMon can now teach individuals how to fly in instrument meteorological conditions which means navigating using cockpit instruments alone without relying on outside visual references. It's a meaningful milestone that expands both what he can teach and those who he can help progress in their flight training.

Spartan Flight Academy is now FAA Part 141 approved at our Grand Prairie flight facility; and that matters for your training. Part 141 programs are structured, FAA-reviewed, and designed to give students a clear, organized progression through their certificates and ratings, from Private Pilot all the way through CFI. It's a meaningful step for anyone serious about pursuing a flight training, and it reflects the standards our team has worked hard to build here at our Grand Prairie flight facility!

Did you know? 💭 Today we celebrate , and we couldn't let it pass without talking about some members of our incredible Aviation Maintenance team: Steve O'Brien, Director of Aircraft Maintenance, Austin Ondarza, A&P Technician, and Luis Santiago, A&P Technician — who show up every day with the kind of dedication that doesn't ask for recognition, but absolutely deserves it.

From our Cessna 172s to our Piper Archers, they help keep the aircraft in our fleet airworthy and ready to fly; so that when our students take to the sky, they do it on aircraft that have been meticulously cared for. We're grateful to have them. 🎉
