Ashlock Music Guitar & Ukulele Lessons Edward Thornhill began playing guitar in the summer of 1984, and it changed his life dramatically.

This life-changing experience ignited a passion not only for playing music, but also for sharing this life-altering gift with others through teaching. When Edward Thornhill started playing guitar at the age of 16, he had no idea how much his life was about to change. Music offered him a release for the angst and frustration shared by many teenagers, and this opportunity for creative expression completely redirected his life. This ignited a passion not only for playing music, but also for sharing this wonderful gift with others through teaching. With over 40 years of experience playing guitar/ukulele, over 20 years' experience teaching, and proficiency in a wide range of musical styles, Edward offers quality lessons that emphasize individual needs/interests while also providing a firm foundation in musical rudiments. Experience has taught him that most people learn best when the teacher meets them on their own level, honors their personal tastes, and avoids using a "one-size-fits-all" methodology. No matter what your musical goals/aspirations might be, Ashlock Music promises to work hard in helping you attain them!
