If you spend all off season getting right, why would you just stop training during the season and lose those qualities you developed? Thatās what most team sport coaches and youth athletes donāt understand. Competition and skill work doesnāt maintain athletic qualities, it actually diminishes them. The training you do in-season is crucial, and the intensity and volume you do it at matters. Thatās why you canāt be guessing and following whatever you see on social media.
