GB Homecoming will be Friday, September 25 this year, which will be a half-day of school for students. The parade will step off at 5:00 PM (lineup starts at 4PM), and the varsity game will kick off at 7:00 PM. The theme will be WeR1GB.

**REMINDER: NO SCHOOL THURSDAY-FRIDAY, 8/27-8/28**

There will be no school or Children's Garden preschool on Thursday, August 27th or Friday, August 28th. School will resume on on Monday, August 31st at normal building times.

Middle School teachers from across the district came together at WMS to engage in important professional development, learn about the latest updates in Synergy's Grade Book, and get ready for the school year! It's almost time! Hopefully, you've got your schedules, supply lists, and teacher assignments, and you can enjoy the last weekend before the school year starts! Get those backpacks packed, GB!

On Wednesday, August 19, colleagues, friends, and family gathered at West Middle School to witness the unveiling of the newly named Jaimi Hegenauer Hall. It was a lovely tribute, including heartfelt words from staff and a beautiful poem written by student Kaiden Vining to her beloved teacher who passed away last fall.
