We ended the week before Spring Break with our annual Emma Family Field Day! Our P.E. teacher, Mrs. Turner, spends weeks teaching our students the skills needed to participate in each event. We appreciate her dedication to our students, and for organizing such a wonderful day for our students to show off their skills to their families. We also appreciate Mrs. Cellars, Mrs. Jinkerson, and the high school student volunteers for assisting in one of our favorite traditions of the year!

Ms Christy and Ms Fajardo’s class spent the week in the farm to market room! Such meaningful, experience based learning taking place each and every day at Emma!

Read Across America week was such a big success! Thanks to all the families that helped their students participate in our dress up days! And to Mrs. Cellars for inviting our Granbury Varsity Football guys to come over and read to our students. The players were incredible with our little friends! One even searching out bilingual books to read to our bilingual classes! Going the extra mile to make genuine connections, we love our GISD family!!

Ms Kissinger and Ms Tia’s class ended their transportation aboard a jet plane!! ✈️

Celebrating two of the best!! Ms. Fajardo is our paraprofessional of the year and Ms Davis is our teacher of the year!! These two embody professionalism, ambition, dedication and a strong love for each and everyone of our students! We appreciate you both!!
