Tonight, Evan Gerringer and Madison Kingery, two talented senior athletes from Southern Alamance High School, received the William David Vaughn Scholarship at the SASPY awards. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our student athletes, and it's why we strive to raise funds through our annual golf tournament - to support and celebrate their success. Please join us in congratulating Evan and Madison on their well-deserved recognition and their outstanding representation of SAHS!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for the 19th annual William David Vaughn Scholarship & Southern Alamance Hall of Fame Golf Tournament! Thanks to all of our generous sponsors & donors, faithful players, and hard-working volunteers. Money raised at this event is used to award two $1500 scholarships to senior athletes at Southern Alamance High School as well as SAHS Hall of Fame projects.

Tomorrow looks like a beautiful day for golf and we can’t wait to see see everyone at The Challenge! Breakfast will be served before we kick off the great day of golf, and lunch will be ready as golfers finish playing. We will have lots of awesome prizes, UNC basketball tickets up for auction, and some silent auction items, including rounds of golf at Talamore Golf Club and Longleaf Golf Club in Pinehurst. Mulligans will be available for purchase at check-in and raffle tickets will be sold after lunch. We accept cash check and credit cards.
