Earlier this week, the Grafton School District officially renamed and dedicated our high school soccer field in honor of long-time head coach and Wisconsin Soccer Hall of Fame inductee Don Arnold during a special ceremony.

For over 29 years and 50 seasons, Coach Arnold built the foundation of Grafton High School Soccer—guiding hundreds of Black Hawks, claiming a state championship, racking up over 600 career wins, and teaching us all what it truly means to be a team.

"You’ve been talking about how Don did this and did that," Coach Arnold shared during his remarks. "But it was us. It was the team, it was all the coaches, and the active support from the school district and Grafton community. Thank you for letting me coach for as long as I did and giving me the privilege of coaching so many great students."

Help us kick off the first home football game in a big way tomorrow, August 28th at 7:00 PM as our Black Hawks take on the Slinger Owls for our first home game of the season! We are proud to host our annual 1st Responder & Military Appreciation Night to honor the incredible heroes in our community.

Wear your red, white, and blue, cheer for the black hawks, check out the fireworks, and let's pack the stands. Hope to see you there!

Welcome back to all of our teachers and staff! We're so excited to kick off a brand-new school year and introduce a new theme debuted by Superintendent Nelson: "Excellence in Action."

All four principals presented highlights from this past school year, including John Long Middle School receiving its first-ever 5-Star Exceeding Expectations Award, Kennedy and Woodview Elementarys' highlighting their schools' academic reading growth, and Grafton High School having all students in the Class of 2026 complete a post-secondary goal for the first time ever!

We ended the presentation with our take on the Viking row celebration led by our Boys Soccer Coach, Jacob Wilde.
