IT'S ALMOST HERE! ⚓🎉💙 Join us TOMORROW as we celebrate the start of the 2026-27 school year at our annual Back-to-School Rally!

From back-to-school information to family fun, you'll find:
📚 Teacher assignments for students in grades PK-6***
🎈 Bounce houses, face painting, balloon twisting, a dunk tank, Eaton Township Fire & Rescue obstacle course, athletic team games, and more
🚌 Back-to-school support from district departments, including registration, transportation, and food services
🎵 Live DJ
🚁 Helicopter landing at 5:30 p.m. (weather permitting)
🍔 Delicious food and treats from Kona Ice, FranksnShakes, bRaised in the CLE, Big Jacks Gut Shack, and Harbor of Hope
🤝 Information, resources, and opportunities to connect with local vendors, community partners, and Midview groups
✏️ Free school supplies through our Stuff the Bus supply drive (located at East Intermediate during the Rally)

***Please note: Due to student privacy regulations, class lists will not be posted on buses this year. Instead, families attending the Rally can visit our teacher assignment station to learn who their child’s teacher is! Teacher assignments will also be available in PowerSchool the following day for families who are unable to attend!

Yesterday, we were excited to welcome our incoming 7th graders to Midview Middle School for Orientation!

Students spent the day getting a feel for middle school life, from tackling locker combinations and navigating their schedules to meeting a few of their teachers and learning about the people and resources here to support them. They also got a first look at ways to get involved, what to expect at MMS, and, of course, enjoyed some pizza and time with classmates!

We hope Orientation Day gave the Class of 2032 a little extra confidence as they get ready to begin their middle school journey.

Our kindergarten and preschool teams had such a great time meeting their new students during screenings this week! 💙 Our littlest Middies arrived full of excitement and did a great job showing us what they know.

Safety takes teamwork, and we’re thankful for great community partners like Eaton Township Fire & Rescue! 🚒 Their crew was on campus yesterday morning completing their annual fire inspections and testing our fire alarm systems throughout the district. As always, we appreciate all they do to support our schools and help keep our Middies safe!

We’re looking forward to seeing them again at the Back-to-School Rally next Thursday! Be sure to stop by, say hello, and give their obstacle course a try!

📣 Attention all incoming 7th grade families! We’re excited to welcome the Class of 2032 to MMS for 7th Grade Orientation on August 24!

Our middle school team has planned a fun and informative morning to help students feel more confident and prepared for the year ahead. Parents, we’ll also have an information session from 11-11:30 a.m. so you can learn more about life at MMS, too!

This school year, students who qualify for either free OR reduced-price meals can receive school breakfast and lunch at no cost through the National School Lunch Program!
