Your Ori sometimes requires a higher level of sacrifice before your prayers are answered. The offering can be the exact thing standing between you and your prayer requests.

Sometimes you can’t see the things blocking your blessings, such as energetic blockages or karmic debt. Offerings help remove stagnant energetic pathways that prayers can’t always achieve on their own.

Other times, the offering has nothing to do with a request or desire. It’s about showing gratitude. Your Ori helps you achieve so many things on a daily basis without you even asking. And an offering is a way to show your appreciation for all the blessings it’s given you.

I talk to a lot of people just starting their path into Ifá. And I often see them make the same mistakes when beginning their practice. But these patterns never make it onto the typical beginner checklists.
