Our Department of Arts & Education had the opportunity to attend the 2026 AI Impact Conference at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on February 27.
This year’s theme, “Rural Roots, Digital Literacy,” brought together educators, researchers, and professionals from across Oklahoma to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming education, workforce development, and community leadership.
From the “AI in the Workforce” panel to concurrent sessions on student engagement, curriculum design, ethics, and digital resilience, the conference provided meaningful insight into how AI can support innovation while maintaining integrity and human oversight.
We are grateful for the opportunity to engage in these conversations and bring new ideas back to our students and classrooms.
