🕸️Who says spider webs are just for decorating?

This week, our little artists got creative with a Halloween twist! Instead of using regular paintbrushes, we used fake spider webs to dab paint onto our kitten crafts and create their fluffy fur.

Preschool is all about trying new things, exploring different textures, and discovering that art supplies don’t always have to be what you expect! 🩵

👻 WAIT FOR IT…

When you think you’re just playing with tea bags, and suddenly they turn into flying ghosts! 👻🔥

Preschool never gets boring around here! We love finding fun little ways to turn everyday things into something unexpected. And the best part? Watching those little faces & hearing their little voices when it actually works! 😂🩵

🍎✏️ We’re giving Inktober a try!

I decided to join this fun October drawing challenge with the Gooding Public Library! I added a little preschool twist so I thought I’d share my Day 1 drawing. 🩵 Anyone can join!

The prompt was APPLE 🍎, and I snuck in something we learned this week, too!

P.S. Our library is extra special to us because they gift us free books each month to add to our kiddos home libraries. We’re so thankful for them! 🩵📚

✨Did you know?

Preschoolers are little scientists. 🧠🔎

They test cause and effect constantly… usually by doing the thing you just told them not to do. 😂

However, at SBBP, we do our best to give them plenty of opportunities to test that cause and effect in a fun, hands on way!

Me + my two homeschooled kiddos watching our preschoolers hear an instruction ONE time… and actually follow it! 🦖👏

These are the little moments that make us celebrate. 🥹 Consistency really does pay off!

And don’t worry, we’re still all about the mess, the exploring, and the creativity around here. Messy learning is good learning, too! ✨

This is the age of the word WHY… why for everything! 😂

But honestly, I love it. Their questions are one of the ways they make sense of the world, build language, and learn to think beyond what they already know.

It’s also kept my brain alive! 😂 Some days we figure out the answers together, and other days I’m amazed at where one simple “why?” takes their imagination.

That little question can turn into a story, a discovery, or a whole world inside their minds. 💭✨

I just love watching them realize that they can wonder, ask, explore, and learn. 🩵🤍

We explored science, made caterpillars, practiced our fine-motor skills, got messy, and enjoyed lots of hands-on learning outdoors! 🩵

Back to school, back to routines, back to the crazy schedules! 😂📚

Between school, sports, activities, homework, and everything in between, it’s so easy for the days to just fly by.

So here’s a little September reminder for all of us (including me): slow down when we can, soak it all in, and enjoy the little moments. 🤎🍂

Because these busy, ordinary days are the ones we’ll miss someday. 🥹
