If you're looking to start a career in Louisiana's high-demand manufacturing, refining, or petrochemical industries, this information session is a great opportunity to explore your options and learn how the program can fit your schedule.

CAMPUS CLOSURE ALERT: Due to anticipated severe weather, all River Parishes Community College campuses and instructional sites will transition to remote operations beginning 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17 and continue through Thursday, June 18.

The PTEC Info Session at Donaldsonville High School scheduled for this evening at 5:00 pm will continue as scheduled.

All other in-person classes, activities, and events scheduled for Wednesday, June 17 (after 5:00 p.m.) or Thursday, June 18 (all day) will be conducted remotely, as directed by instructors and supervisors. Employees should follow guidance provided by their supervisors regarding remote work expectations.

The college will resume normal operations Monday, June 22.

Students, faculty, and staff should continue to monitor their RPCC email and official social media channels for updates.

Congratulations to David Coley on completing the College Readiness Assessment Pathway and earning his high school equivalency credential!

David plans to begin working full-time with a local diesel company while continuing to pursue his long-term goal of studying diesel technology and earning a certification as a Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic.

A developing weather system in the Gulf has the potential to bring periods of heavy rainfall, localized flooding, gusty winds, and other hazardous conditions to portions of Louisiana over the next several days.

At this time, River Parishes Community College is closely monitoring forecasts and guidance from local and state emergency management officials.
