Eastern Wayne Elementary’s Got Talent
Wayne Co. Regional Agricultural Talent Show will be in a few weeks (October 7) and we would love to have YOU represent Eastern Wayne Elementary by showcasing your talent. If you are interested, you must audition in person or send in a video of your talent to Mrs.Weslea Gray. A panel of judges will select a few “warriors” from our school to be in the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair Talent Show! (This is voluntary.)
What kind of talent is allowed? Singing, dancing, playing an instrument or novelty act (anything that isn’t singing or dancing - like reciting a poem, performing a skit, baton twirling, ventriloquist, etc). You can also perform with a friend or a small group (as long as they are in your grade division).
Please refer to the guidelines below.
2 Separate Grade Divisions: K-2 Grades & 3-5 Grades
Your talent cannot be any longer than 3 minutes.
Pantomime or lip-syncing will not be permitted in the contest. For singing, a karaoke style accompaniment track is required. This means there are only instruments playing in your background music and your voice is the only one singing.
Dress up for your talent! If you’re dancing, wear your costume. If you’re singing, wear something that compliments your song. Remember to do exactly what you would do if you were in front of a live audience. SMILE! Auditions must have all of these elements.
Auditions can be in person, September 7th-10th between 7:30-8:00 a.m. (contact Mrs. Gray through email or Talking Points to select a time) OR Email a video of your 3 minute talent to [email protected] by Monday, September 14..
Judges will make their final decisions by Wednesday, September 16th.
