Forty teams confirmed for 3rd FIDE Chess Olympiad for People with Disabilities – International Chess Federation Forty teams have entered the 3rd FIDE Chess Olympiad for People with Disabilities, setting a new participation record for the competition. The tournament runs in Samarkand from 10 to 17 September alongside the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad, marking the first time the two events have been staged together.
